Settings
You can find the plugin’s settings in WooCommerce » Settings » Shipping » Shipping Zones. Then add New Zealand Post Pro to one of the zones, then you can access the settings page by clicking on the added shipping method.

WooCommerce New Zealand Post Extension comes with several settings to make you take full control of the plugin.
- Once the plugin has been activated, go to WooCommerce » Settings » Shipping. The method will be listed at the top of the screen, underneath the tabs. Click on ‘New Zealand Post Pro’
- Enable/Disable Choose whether to enable the shipping method of not.
- Method Title Name the shipping method. This will be visible to customers.
- API Key Get this from New Zealand Post website or leave it to use our API Key.
- Shop Origin Post Code This should be set to the postcode from which you will ship. It is sent to the New Zealand Post API.
- Handling Fees * If you charge handling fees, you can add it from here either by adding a fixed number or a percentage (e.g. 2.5 or 2%, you can also add negative values for discount e.g. -5)
- Default Package Weight The default weight of the package, If you didn’t set the weight in the `Add New Product` page. This weight will be used to calculate the shipping fees.
- Default Package Width The default width of the package, If you didn’t set the width in the `Add New Product` page. This width will be used to calculate the shipping fees.
- Default Package Height The default height of the package, If you didn’t set the height in the `Add New Product` page. This height will be used to calculate the shipping fees.
- Default Package Length The default length of the package, If you didn’t set the length in the `Add New Product` page. This length will be used to calculate the shipping fees.
- Domestic Options * New Zealand Post has four options to ship inside New Zealand, you can enable or disable these options as you want.
- Postage Type If you choose an option other than Postage only, you have to buy prepaid NZ Post bags, take a look at their store.
- International Options * New Zealand Post has four options to ship outside New Zealand, you can enable or disable these options as you want.
- Method availability * If you want to restrict the use of New Zealand Post shipping to specific countries, use this option.
- Rates * Choose to return all rates (user will get the choice) or just the cheapest rate.
- Debug Mode* Enabling debug mode will allow administrators to test the shipping method on their website before showing it to public.
- Delivery Time * Enable the display of delivery time for customers.
- Packaging Method * You can choose the way you pack your products whether Individually or the total cart weight.
- New Zealand Post Prepaid Bags * This option will appear if you choose “Use Prepaid Bags” from the Packaging Method option. This option will allow you to select the pre-paid bags which you are using in shipping your products.
